Dennis P. McMahon

Dennis P. McMahon has been practicing law in Hartford, New Britain and Tolland Counties since 1981. He has had a thriving private law practice in Manchester since 1986. Attorney McMahon completed his undergraduate degree at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire and graduated Cum Laude in 1978. He also attended the University of Connecticut School of Law. He obtained his law degree at Ohio Northern University College of Law. Admitted to the Connecticut State Bar and Federal District Court in 1981, Attorney McMahon has argued many cases in state and federal courts, focusing on criminal defense and civil litigation. He has also handled many cases involving serious felony charges. He has extensive experience in criminal law, civil litigation, personal injury claims and social security disability. He worked at the Office of Hearings and Appeals with the Department of Health & Human Services, where he specialized in the area of social security disability.
